Men’s Volleyball Goes 0-4 at Nazareth Invite

ROCHESTER, NY — The men’s volleyball team traveled to Rochester this weekend to take part in the Nazareth Invitational. They faced Nazareth on Friday in their first match of the day and fell to the Golden Flyers 3-1 (30-28, 32-34, 28-30 aft, 23-30). Alexander Jackson and Mark Blair each finished with 15 kills and Ryan Huberty added 14. Senior Pedro Medina collected 16 digs and Stephen Pendleton dished out 44 assists.
The Hawks faced UC Santa Cruz in the Friday night cap and fell 3-0 (30-18, 30-24, 30-26). No results were made available from that match.
New Paltz continued play on Saturday and took on Eastern Mennonite at 12 noon. Eastern Mennonite defeated New Paltz 3-1 (30-26, 30-27, 28-30, 30-16). The Hawks faced D’Youville in their final match of the weekend and lost 3-1 (30-21, 27-30, 30-27, 30-25).
