SANTA CRUZ, CA — The men’s volleyball team took on the University of Santa Cruz Friday night and were swept by the Slugs 3-0 (30-23, 30-18, 30-18). Ryan Huberty led the attack with 11 kills and Mark Blair finished with six kills. Alex Jackson and John Knapp each chipped in with five kills. Sophomore Stephen Pendleton handed out 27 assists and senior Pedro Medina collected 18 digs.
New Paltz falls to 0-2 and returns to action on Tuesday January 15th when they take on Cal. Baptist at 7:00 pm.
