Men’s Volleyball Opens Season with 3-1 Loss

The men’s volleyball team opened their season on January 10th in California against Holy Names University. It was an aerial battle between the Hawks as the teams went head to head for four games in the match with HNU coming out on top 3-1 (30-27, 27-30, 30-24, 32-30).
Ryan Huberty paced the attack with 14 kills and three aces. Mark Blair finished with nine kills and Alexander Jackson added six kills. Stephen Pendleton handed out 32 assists and first year Andrew Cassius dished out 13 helpers. Senior Pedro Medina totaled 13 digs and the Hawks fall to 0-1 on the year.
