Men’s Basketball Falls to Oswego 80-52

OSWEGO, NY — The men’s basketball team traveled to Oswego and trailed the Lakers throughout the game on the way to an 80-52 decision. New Paltz falls to 4-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
Sophomore Lee Bertram led the offense with 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds for the Hawks. Kyle Nelson posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards, while Brian Kuar finished with eight rebounds. The Hawks held a 41-37 rebound margin, but Oswego shut-down New Paltz on the perimeter as the Hawks went 0-13 from the arc.
New Paltz returns to the court tomorrow at 4:00 pm when they take on Morrisville.
