NEW YORK, NY — The men’s volleyball team traveled to New York City tonight to take on Hunter College and lost 3-2 (35-33, 30-26, 27-30, 27-30, 15-7). New Paltz dropped the first two games but battled back to force a fifth and deciding game. Stephen Pendleton handed out 39 assists to go with his seven kills and six digs. First year Andrew Cassius dished out 17 helpers and senior Pedro Medina collected 20 digs.
The Hawks return to action this Saturday when they travel to Elms for a tri-match with Newbury at 1 and 3 pm.
