NEW PALTZ — Head Men’s Baseball Coach at the State University of New York at New Paltz, Mike Juhl (Kingston, NY), was recently appointed to the NCAA Division III regional baseball selection committee for New York State.
“I feel honored to have been appointed to this committee. I hope that it brings respect and recognition to the university and to our baseball program,” said Coach Juhl, who was appointed to the committee for the first time.
Coach Juhl’s three-year appointment allows him to represent the State University of New York Athletic Conference. Coach Juhl’s primary role within the committee is to report on the teams within the SUNYAC and aid in the selection of New York teams for the NCAA Division III tournament.
In his fifth season, Coach Juhl and the New Paltz Hawks Baseball team kick off their season, Saturday, March 9, at Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
