Queens Knocks Off Men’s Volleyball For Second Time

FLUSHING, NY — The SUNY New Paltz men’s volleyball team lost for the second time to Queens College Wednesday in four games to drop their record to 8-10 on the season.

The Hawks grabbed the first game 30-24 before losing the last three 24-30, 17-30, and 22-30. In the first match between the two teams, the game count was exactly the same with New Paltz taking the lead early before succumbing to the Knights in 4.

Sean Riley (Brewerton, NY) and Steve Bristow (Richmond, VA) led the Hawks with 11 and 10 kills respectively, and Jim Cramer (New Oxford, PA) added 25 assists.

New Paltz will next travel to Steven’s Tech for a Saturday match.
