BOSTON, MASS. — Matt Selkirk placed fifth in the Men’s Pole Vault and Andrea Drayss took 10th in the Women’s Shot Put to highlight SUNY New Paltz’s day at the ECAC Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday in Boston.
Selkirk jumped 14 feet, 4 ΒΌ inches, while Drayss threw 11.20 meters (36 feet, 9 inches).
In addition, the Distance Medley Relay team of Corey Crawford, Dale Eberhardt, Justin Lee and Phil Goodwin placed eighth (10:40.89) to help the Hawk men place 32nd as a team. The New Paltz women did not have enough competitors to be listed in the team standings.
