ITHACA — SUNY New Paltz remained winless in women’s volleyball on Saturday at the second day of the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational at Ben Light Gymnasium.
New Paltz (0-8) lost to Alfred, 15-7, 15-9, 15-4, and also fell to Elmira, 15-3, 15-7, 15-8.
Crystal Smith led the Hawks despite the two losses. Against Alfred, Smith had 15 digs and eight kills, and she collected four more digs, three more kills and a service ace against Elmira.
New Paltz hosts Montclair State on Thursday at 7 p.m.
