NEW PALTZ — Posting the first quadruple-double on any collegiate level this season helped earn SUNY New Paltz men’s volleyball standout Beau Warren the American Volleyball Coaches Association/Sports Imports Division III National Player of the Week award on Monday afternoon.

And in a 3-1 home win against 15th-ranked Stevens Tech last Wednesday, Warren had 35 assists, 12 kills, six digs and three blocks for New Paltz (11-3), which has won 11 of its last 12 matches and continues to be ranked eighth in Division III.

Overall, Warren is second on the team in kills per game (3.14), assists per game (6.34) and service aces (0.32), and is ranked 13th nationally in hitting percentage (.379). He has reached double figures in both kills and assists in seven of 13 matches this season.
