Department of Athletics Fall 2003 All-Academic Team Announced

NEW PALTZ, NY — Thirty-six student-athletes at SUNY New Paltz were recently named to the Department of Athletics Fall 2003 All-Academic Team.

The honor goes to all student-athletes who receive a minimum grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher and have made a significant contribution to his or her team.

Student-athletes from the following teams were honored:

Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field: Jason Letts and Antonio Giresi

Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field: Heather DeBuono, Kelly Moore, Janet Walsh, Musu Jackson-Buckner and Allison Taub

Field Hockey: Lisa Taub, Allison Taub and Musu Jackson-Buckner

Men’s Soccer: Joe Fabian

Women’s Soccer: Danielle Herring and Courtney Muller

Women’s Tennis: Jen Larson and Jessica Smith

Women’s Volleyball: Jennifer Hollis, Kelly Long, Denee Miggins and Carrie Briscoe

Women’s Swimming: Liz Delia, Andrea Ditter, Joanna Masterson and Danielle Lindner

Men’s Basketball: John Hauser and Matt Irwin

Women’s Basketball: Lindsay Dakin and Tarah Norris
