BROOKLYN, NY — The SUNY New Paltz men’s volleyball team stopped a two-game skid with a 3-0 victory over Polytechnic University this evening.
Junior outside hitter Mike LaRocco (Hauppauge, NY) registered eight kills and played errorless volleyball to help the Hawks improve to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the NECVA Metro Division.
Sophomore middle blocker Greg Jackson (North Central Square, NY) had a team-best 14 kills and sophomore setter Kevin Buggs (Tonawanda, NY)registered 39 assists for New Paltz who picked up its third 3-0 win of the season.
The Hawks will host Ramapo on Saturday (Feb. 7) at 2:00 p.m.
