Women’s Lacrosse Team Loses At Geneseo
GENESEO — Two Geneseo players had four goals each, as the Knights defeated New Paltz, 19-6, in SUNYAC women’s lacrosse on Friday afternoon in Geneseo.
Jen Capraro and Kristen Haunss each scored four times, while Jen Turkovich added three goals and an assist to pace the (5-1 overall, 2-0 SUNYAC) Knights.
In the loss, Erin Scherf had two goals and Katie Sharp had one goal, as both extended their scoring streaks to four games. They are also the top two in team scoring – Sharp has nine goals, while Scherf has eight goals. Adrian Grasso made 20 saves in a losing effort for the (0-5 overall, 0-3 SUNYAC) Hawks.
New Paltz travels to Brockport for a 12:30 p.m. match on Saturday.
