Beau Warren Voted EIVA Player of the Week

NEW PALTZ, NY — Junior setter Beau Warren has been named Eastern Collegiate Volleyball Association Player of the Week for his performances last week at the Nickel City Invitational in Buffalo.

Warren recorded two triple doubles and one double double in four matches to lead the Hawks to a 3-1 record last week. Warren came away with a triple double in a 3-1 win over #7 ranked Clarke finishing with 13 kills, 18 assists, and 10 digs. He followed it up with a triple double in a 3-2 loss to #6 ranked UC Santa Cruz ending with 15 kills, 16 assists, and 10 blocks. In a 3-1 win over Medaille, Warren finished with 11 kills, and 10 assists.

For the week, the Canandaigua, NY native hit .230, averaging 2.12 kills per game, 5.40 assists per game, and 0.95 blocks per game.

This is the second time this season Warren has received the honor. For the week of 2/19, he was EIVA and also the American Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Week.
