Listen live on 88.7 FM and online at WFNP.org.

Full College Radio Day schedule:

10–11 a.m.: Live WFNP broadcast at Peregrine

11 a.m.–12 p.m.: WFNP studio (SUB 423) open house

12–1 p.m.: Live performance at the Starbucks Patio by musician Zeren Zia ’26 (Music), who is also the WFNP station manager

2–4 p.m.: Live performances at the WFNP Lounge (SUB fourth floor), featuring Emerson Laura Palmer and Gunk

The Oct. 6 program is a good opportunity to appreciate what WFNP brings to campus all year ‘round. It’s been a fixture at New Paltz for decades, with generations of alumni contributing to its history and bringing their own musical tastes to the broadcast.

The station was there for the community during the most difficult days of COVID-19, too, with students and staff developing new processes to stay on the air from fall 2020 forward.

WFNP is always looking for more students to get involved. Their DJ Training Program is open to anyone, regardless of major or experience, and can be a great foot in the door for careers in audio production.

WFNP is a non-commercial, student-run radio station whose music, talk and news broadcasts can be accessed from anywhere in the world at www.wfnp.org. The radio station, like the WNPC-TV television station and The New Paltz Oracle student newspaper, is run by an executive board and comprised of student members that are responsible for its day-to-day operation.
