The next time you log into my.newpaltz.edu, it may look a little different!
Information Technology Services has been working on a design refresh for the University’s self-service portal for students, faculty and staff. The changes are scheduled to go live on Wednesday, June 7.
While most of the changes are cosmetic, they serve some important purposes:
A new color scheme improves the accessibility of the page, removing areas of poor contrast that can be challenging for some users.
The new design is also much more mobile-friendly, improving the experience for the large and growing percentage of traffic to my.newpaltz.edu that comes via phones and other mobile devices (See mobile display screenshot at right).
You’ll still be able to find all the same content and links at or near their usual place.
My.newpaltz.edu remains the first option for students managing their course schedule and their student account, and for faculty and staff accessing employment records and institutional policies, and submitting their timesheets.
