The 14-Day Writing Challenge for faculty returns Tuesday, June 5

Starting June 5, New Paltz faculty can take part in the 14-Day Writing Challenge from the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity. Those interested must register by Wednesday, May 31.

The Writing Challenge is one of the most popular resources from the NCFDD for faculty at New Paltz, with participation increasing each year. For two weeks, the program provides structure, coaching, and accountability in the skills and habits needed for accelerating writing productivity.

The NCFDD is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of faculty, post-doctorate, and graduate students from more than 450 colleges and universities.  Those who take advantage of this resource will gain access to a large network of academics across the country available for mentorship and support services designed for faculty at any stage of their academic careers.

For those who have not accessed NCFDD resources before, summer may be an excellent time to navigate around the website of NCFDD and find out what has prompted so many colleagues to sign on.
