Enzo Clinical Labs, which provided COVID-19 testing on the SUNY New Paltz campus from 2020-2022, has announced that they have had a cybersecurity incident.
Members of the New Paltz community who participated in on-campus COVID-19 testing may receive letters from Enzo that their records were among those compromised.
Enzo’s statement notes that “The files contained patient names, dates of service, clinical test information, and, in some instances, Social Security numbers. Patient financial and payment information was not involved in this incident.”
Enzo is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to those whose Social Security numbers were involved. Those individuals will receive direct communication from Enzo by mail outlining next steps to set up those resources.
