The September 2022 WellNYS challenge: Make time for yourself
The Employee Assistance Program’s WellNYS Everyday site has published its Daily To-Do calendar for September 2022, which encourages you to carve out 22 minutes of your busy day for some alone time.
The calendar gives ideas for different ways you can spend time and be productive by yourself in that time frame, from going to a concert on your own to taking a stroll in a park.
The calendar can be viewed in full below or downloaded here as a pdf.
You can also read EAP’s monthly newsletter, Frontline Employee, for more ideas for self-care and enjoyment.
About the Employee Assistance Program
The mission of the Employee Assistance Program is to provide a comprehensive, confidential, worksite-based program to support faculty and staff, as well as their families, in navigating emotional, legal, financial, grief, change, relationship, substance or domestic violence issues.
EAP is funded through the collective bargaining agreements between the State of New York and the public employee unions: CSEA, PEF, UUP, NYSCOPBA, GSEU, Council 82, and DC-37. The Office of Employee Relations (OER) contributes on behalf of Management/ Confidential employees.
