The Friends of the Library recently made a grant to the Sojourner Truth Library for new book and media purchases, and all faculty, staff and students are welcome to send their suggestions for new acquisitions to support teaching and research in all fields of study.
Requests are due by Sunday, March 20. Please use this form to submit.
Feel free to “think big” about this opportunity: Are there expensive titles or sets that would benefit learners in your area? For faculty, is there something that will help you teach your usual classes or aid you and/or your students in conducting research? Did you always wonder why we didn’t have this or that important book? Now’s the time to request it!
We are unable to take requests for continuing resources (journals, databases) for this grant. Only one-time expenditures will be considered.
The Library can hold any physical items you would like to check out immediately at the Checkout Desk; otherwise, all purchases will go to the New Books Shelf.
This request form is not designed for materials that will be formally assigned for a course. For requests like that, please continue to use our regular book/media request form or email Madeline at veitchm@newpaltz.edu so we can route them to Reserves.
