Dear Colleagues,

As directed by the president, and in recognition of the challenges of this semester, this year the campus will begin enjoying summer hours, effective Friday, May 1, 2020 through Friday, Aug. 14, 2020. Core office hours will be 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Classified staff employees represented by CSEA and PEF who work a 7.5-hour day will have a half hour meal period during this season. Those who work an 8-hour day will have no change in meal period but may work different hours, depending on operating needs of their department. For classified staff employees represented by PBANYS and NYSCOPBA, there will be no change in work hours or meal period.

Professional, exempt full-time employees represented by UUP are expected to continue to perform their full professional obligation, which may include coverage during the core office hours. Non-exempt and/or part-time professional employees should discuss the effect of the core hours change with their immediate supervisor. Any questions may be directed to your immediate supervisor.
