Museum to host community roundtable of artists and business owners

The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz will hold a community roundtable at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, in Lecture Center 108 to discuss the “Habitat for Artists Project” with curators, artists and representatives of New Paltz businesses and organizations that have hosted this six-month installation of temporary artist studios at four sites around New Paltz.

The roundtable, which marks the conclusion of the “Ecotones and Transition Zones” exhibition, will be moderated by Wall Street Journal columnist Gwendolyn (Wendy) Bounds, who writes and creates video content about home improvement and housing, with a focus on the environment and sustainability.

Bounds is a regular on-air contributor to ABC’s "Good Morning America" and other ABC news shows and appears frequently on CNBC’s "The Call.” Recently, she led discussion at the Lincoln Center about collaboration in art and work.
