NEW PALTZ, NY- SUNY New Paltz Athletic Director Stuart Robinson announced Douglas Herman as the interim sports information director for the upcoming year.
Herman succeeds Janelle Feuz, who served the past three years as the sports information director at New Paltz before departing for SUNY Brockport. Herman spent the last year as the assistant sports information director at New Paltz.
Prior to New Paltz, Herman was a student assistant in the sports information and athletic offices at Morrisville State College. He also served as the temporary sports information director for two months in October and November of 2007.
Herman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Morrisville State College in 2008 with a concentration in human performance and health promotion.
