The women’s volleyball team traveled to Williams tonight and fell to the Ephs 3-1 (25-21, 13-25, 21-25, 22-25). New Paltz falls to 17-2 on the season while Williams improved to 14-7.
Junior Brittany Coyle led the attack with 11 kills while first year Melinda DiGiovanna added ten kills. Stephanie Bova handed out 45 assists and Nicole Mercadante collected 20 digs. First year Artie Williams registered four service aces.
The Hawks will return to action this weekend when they participate in the NYU tournament. New Paltz faces Wisconsin-Whitewater at 4pm and RIT at 6pm on Friday.
