The women’s tennis team hosted RPI this afternoon and won 6-3. With the win the Hawks improve to 4-1 on the season. New Paltz claimed two of the doubles matches and four singles matches. Senior Dana Lim, sophomore Stephanie Schara and first year Juliette Brandon were each double winners for New Paltz today. Lim and Schara teamed up for an 8-6 victory at first doubles before winning first singles 6-4, 6-4 and second singles 6-1, 6-1, respectively. Brandon won sixth singles, 6-0, 6-1 and teamed up with Kerri Serkes to win third doubles 8-3.
New Paltz will return to action next Saturday when they travel to Cortland to face Fredonia at 3:30.
