The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced James Altadonna (Massapequa Park/Massapequa) as the SUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending August 31. Altadonna started his collegeiate career with a four goal performance in the opening game of the Adidas Kick Off tournament to defeat Western New England 4-1.
Altadonna is the third New Paltz men’s soccer player to earn the honor since it began in 2000. Greg Foss (’06) earned the honor in 2004 and Mike Judge (’08) earned the honor in 2007.
