NEW PALTZ, NY — The tennis team hosted the New Paltz Tournament today and finished first out of four teams. New Paltz defeated RIT 5-2, Cortland 6-1 and Hunter 4-3 to stay undefeated on the day. Hunter took second with a 5-2 win over Cortland and a 5-2 win over RIT. RIT took third with a 4-3 win over fourth place Cortland.
New Paltz will return to action next week when they compete in the NCAA tournament. Opponent is yet to be determined.
