Men’s Volleyball Falls to NJIT 3-0

NEWARK, NJ — The men’s volleyball team traveled to New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) tonight for it’s final regular season game. The Hawks were swept 3-0 (30-18, 30-27, 30-22) by the Highlanders and fall to 11-22 on the season.
Alexander Jackson led the attack with nine kills on 23 attempts with three errors to hit .261. Juniors Ryan Huberty and Mark Blair each added six kills. Stephen Pendleton contributed 22 assists and Pedro Medina collected eight digs.
NJIT combined for 41 kills with 16 errors to hit .298 while the Hawks hit -.034 with 28 kills on 87 attempts and 31 errors.
