Watson and the US Under-23 Women’s Team; Summer Soccer Camp Info

NEW PALTZ, NY — SUNY New Paltz Head Men’s Soccer coach Eric Watson served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team in England from March 7th-15th, 2008. During the training camp the team faced England in a two-game series. On March 12th, the US won 1-0 in the 90th minute, out-shooting England 19-4. On March 14th, the USA won 2-0, scoring in the 8th and 28th minutes. Watson primarily worked with goalkeepers Kelsey Davis and Val Henderson who combined for the shutouts in both contests.
The Under-23’s are training to participate in the Nordic Cup this summer, when they will gun for their 10th title in the prestigious tournament.

Watson will be hosting several sessions of soccer camp this summer, including:
