NEW YORK, NY — The men’s volleyball team traveled to New York City tonight to take on Baruch and swept the Bearcats 3-0 (30-19, 30-22, 30-26). The Hawks hit .327% as a team, compared to the Bearcats who hit .083%. Sophomore Alex Jackson led the attack with a team high .452% on 18 kills. Ryan Huberty hit .348% on 11 kills and registered nine digs and two block assists. Mike Fink added four kills, seven digs and three aces. Senior Pedro Medina totaled 12 digs and Stephen Pendleton handed out 40 assists.
The Hawks return to action on Wednesday when they travel to New Jersey City University to take on the Gothic Knights at 7:00 pm.
