Men’s Soccer Falls to Drew in Season Opener

MADISON, NJ — The men’s soccer team traveled to Madison, NJ to take on Drew in their season opener and fell to the Rangers 2-0. Drew found the back of the net at the 37 minute mark on a shot that was headed in off a cross from the left side of the field. The Rangers took the two goal cushion in the 56th minute off a corner kick which was headed in past the New Paltz goalkeeper Peter Carmel. Carmel, a first year player, made six saves in net for his first collegiate appearance. The Hawks play Richard Stockton Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
