PLATTSBURGH, NY — The women’s tennis advanced to 2-0 on the season with a 9-0 sweep against Plattsburgh. Junior Dana Lim captured first singles 6-3, 6-4 and senior Eri Yamakawa won second singles 1-6, 6-3, 6-1. The dynamic duo paired up for first doubles and breezed to an 8-0 win. Liz Bierne claimed third singles 6-2, 6-1 and teamed up with Lyndsey Lovinger to win second doubles 8-1. Junior Katherine Ketigian won fourth singles with a 6-2, 6-0 performance and paired with first year Stephanie Schara in third doubles and won 8-0.
Junior Lindsay Trifiletti earned fifth singles with a 6-0, 6-0 showing and Kerri Serkes breezed to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at sixth singles. The team will return to action on Thursday September 6th when they host Manhattanville at 3:30pm.
