The women’s volleyball team traveled to the US Merchant Marine Academy to take on the Mariners and claimed a 3-0 win (30-24, 30-19, 30-12). Senior Kim Braga paced the attack with 10 kills and junior Samantha Prudente chipped in with five kills. Katie Becofsky dished out 22 assists, Lauren Hogue tallied 11 digs and Amanda Brown served three aces.
New Paltz returns home to host the Hawk Invite Septemeber 14-15. The Hawks face Elmira on Friday at 2:00 pm.
