NEW PALTZ, NY — Eight teams competed in the Hawk Invite September 14-15. New Paltz won the tournament for the fourth consecutive year with a 4-0 record defeating Keuka in the title match.

New Paltz highlights: Amanda Brown led the Hawks with 10 kills and 13 digs. Kim Braga finished with eight kills and Samantha Prudente and Dana Kindelmann each chipped in with seven kills. Katie Becofsky and Stephanie Bova dished out 21 assists each.
Morrisville def Kean 3-0 (30-20, 30-8, 36-34)
Morrisville Highlights: Fueled by a 12 kill and two block performance from Ebony Whitfield the Mustangs raced out to a two match lead before having to make a comeback late in the third to win the game. Nicole Wright sparked the Mustangs comeback with seven kills, adding a service ace and two defensive digs. Jessica Robinson added 21 assists.
Keuka def Buffalo State 3-0 (30-21, 30-16, 30-28)
Farmingdale def Mt. St. Mary 3-2 (30-21, 30-12, 25-30, 23-30, 15-11)
Farmingdale Highlights: Cathryn McLean paced the attack with 25 kills and 21 digs. Colleen Mackey finished with eight kills, 24 digs and Jeanne Marie Weber handed out 42 assists. Amanda Sperling tallied seven kills, five aces and Theresa Rokee collected 30 digs.

Morrisville def Elmira 3-1 (30-17, 30-20, 24-30, 30-26)
Morrisville highlights: Ebony Whitfield recorded 13 kills and four blocks to lead the Mustangs as teammate Jill Pedulla added seven kills, five assists and two blocks. Jessica Robinson recorded 27 assists and Nicole Wright added six kills and three blocks to the win.
