Holden Named NECVA Rookie of the Year

NEW PALTZ, NY — Middle hitter, Christopher Holden has been named the NECVA Rookie of the Year and to the First Team All-NECVA. Holden helped lead his team to a NECVA record of 12-2, second behind Stevens Institute of Technology. He finished the season with 97 kills on 189 attempts for an attack percentage of .370 in the conference. He registered 1.49 blocks per game for a total of 55. Overall on the season the Hawks went 22-10 and Holden hit .345 percent with 157 blocks.
