ALBANY, NY — The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams competed in the Albany Invitational on Saturday, October 14th. The women finished 7th out of 10 teams and the men placed 10th out of 12.
Sophomore Stephanie Albinski led the Hawks with a time of 20:28.3. Senior Kelly Dunphy finished with a time of 20:51.1 and Lisa Cassaro crossed in 21:25.8. Christine Carlstrom and Tara McGorry rounded out the scoring five in 21:49.4 and 22:08, respecitively. Rounding out the top seven were seniors Jessica Waterbury in 22:24.6 and Winter Eyres in 23:14.2.
The Men’s team was led by senior Harry Sudwisher who came in at 29:25.0. First year Robert Grazier crossed in a time of 30:10 with Nick Avello right on his heels at 30:11. Rounding out the top five were Alex Colucci and Kurtis Nordahl in 30:24.2 and 30:39.1, respectively.
The Hawks will be back in action next Saturday, October 21st when they travel to Buffalo State to compete in the State University of New York Athletic Conference Championships.
