Seven Tennis Players Earn SUNYAC First Team All-Conference

NEW PALTZ, NY — Seven members of the SUNY New Paltz Hawks women’s tennis earned All-Conference recognition for their outstanding performance at the State University of New York Athletic Conference Championships.
Laura Elizabeth Beirne, Katherine Ketigian, Jennifer Larson, Dana Lim, Lindsey Lovinger, Kerri Serkes, and Eri Yamakawa each garnered first team honors. It was the second time Lim has been named to the first team. Ketigian, Larson and Yamakawa each improved to first team after earning second team honors in 2005. Beirne, Lovinger and Serkes finished their first year of collegiate play strong with the high recognition.
The Hawks team brought home four single titles and two double titles as they claimed the 2006 team Championship for the second time in five years.
New Paltz will return to action in March for their spring season.
