SUNY New Paltz welcomes recent graduates to spring weekend reunion

NEW PALTZ — If you graduated in the past 10 years (1994-present) from The State University of New York at New Paltz, you’re invited to campus April 15-17 to celebrate spring at the Recent Graduate Reunion.

On Friday, April 15, the Office of Alumni Affairs will host a Networking Reception from 5-7 p.m. in the lobby of the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Then, the evening will continue with a Coffee House, featuring treats from The Bakery from 8-10 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Room 100. Enjoy music, treats from The Bakery and good company.

The reunion continues on Saturday, April 16, with a Fiesta on the Quad from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Come enjoy hanging out on the Quad on a beautiful spring day with snacks, a cash bar, music by KISS-FM and volleyball. Everyone is welcome — bring your family, friends and dogs!

Then, at 9 p.m., come out to Studley Theatre to hear comedian John Bush, who has made numerous television appearances, including Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and a recurring role on MTV’s “Apartment 2F.” Bush is fast becoming one of the country’s favorite comedians. This event is open to the public. The charge is $3 per person (payable at the door).

Finally, from 11:30 a.m.-1.p.m. on Sunday, April 17, there will be a Student/Alumni Brunch at the Hasbrouck Dining Hall. Come out and see the newly renovated dining hall and enjoy an all-you-can-eat brunch. Charge is $7.50 per person.
