MAHAWA, NJ — Top-seeded and fourth ranked Stevens Tech eliminated SUNY New Paltz from the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) Tournament with a 3-0 (30-22, 30-28, 30-24) sweep in the semifinals.
The fifth-seeded and seventh ranked Hawks dropped to 26-10 with the loss.
SUNY New Paltz still has hopes of earning a post-season tournament bid. The Hawks will await the announcement of the ECAC Tournament pairings early next week.
