ONEONTA, NY — Senior guard Kim Weigel (Whitestone, NY) scored 10 points and helped the East earn a 76-72 win over the West in the New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association (NYSWCAA) Senior All-Star Game at yesterday Hartwick College.
Weigel scored eight of her 10 points in the second half to help the East overcome an 18-point, deficit. The East climbed out of a 38-20 deficit to take its first lead of the game with just under 1:30 to play. Noreen Naughton of Oneonta led the East with 16
In addition to Weigel SUNY New Paltz was also represented by Head Coach Brad Duckworth who was a part of the East’s coaching staff.
