BROCKPORT, NY — Senior goalie Maggie Fenton (East Meadow, NY) stopped 11 shots to help the SUNY New Paltz women’s soccer team earn a 0-0 double overtime tie this afternoon.
Fenton made six of her 11 saves in the first half to keep the Golden Eagles off the board. She also had three stops in the two extra periods.
Brockport prevailed in the shootout to secure a tie-breaker over the Hawks at the end of the regular season. Both teams are currently 2-2-1 in conference play.
The Hawks, who are 4-5-2 overall, will play at Geneseo tomorrow at 1 p.m.
