NEW PALTZ, NY — The RPI women s soccer team scored two first half goals and never looked back in a 4-0 victory over SUNY New Paltz this afternoon.
Junior midfielder Adele Godfrey-Certner (Delmar,NY) scored in the 19th minute to give the Red Hawks a 1-0 lead. Junior forward Anne Drames (West Nyack, NY) scored two goals for RPI this afternoon on assists by junior midfielder Betsy Farmer (Pine City, NY) and Godfrey-Certner.
Junior goalie Maggie Fenton (East Meadow, NY) had 10 saves for New Paltz and sophomore Tara Marandino (Massapequa, NY) had two saves for RPI.
