Crevoiserat Named Women’s Tennis MVP
NEW PALTZ, NY — Megan Crevoiserat was named Most Valuable Player of the women’s tennis team at the SUNY New Paltz Athletic Banquet May 7th.
Crevoiserat, a senior, won the number three singles championship and the number two doubles title with partner Sophie Giret at this year’s State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships.
Crevoiserat entered the tournament unseeded and beat the top three seeds in her flight to claim the singles title. The women’s tennis team went 13-3 this season and captured the 2002 SUNYAC Championship. It was the first-ever women’s team conference crown in SUNY New Paltz history. The Hawks won in dominating fashion, collecting 32 out of a possible 37 points at the event.
