Montclair Hands Hawks Third Loss

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The SUNY New Paltz women’s tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Montclair State this afternoon.

The Hawks, who established a single-season record for wins yesterday with their 13th victory of the year, are now 13-3.

Becky Sparacin (Goshen, NY), Jennifer Neumann (Port Jervis, NY) and Amie Larson (Port Jervis, NY) helped the Hawks gain a split in singles competition. The Red Hawks (7-1) however swept the doubles to pick up their fourth straight win in dual match competition.
