NEW PALTZ — After dropping a close first game 30-27, the Montclair State Red Hawks took three straight games (30-25, 30-19, 30-14) for their first win of the season. SUNY New Paltz slips to 0-4.
Montclair’s Tiffany Aciz (Secaucus, NJ) recorded 14 kills, 12 digs, and five service aces and Jennifer Olan (Jersey City, NY) contributed 23 assists to lead the Red Hawks.
For New Paltz, Denee Miggins (Kingston, NY) had 23 digs followed by Andrea Kaiser’s (Blue Point, NY) 16, and Jackie Goldstein (Port Jervis, NY), Kaiser, and Christina Mazurowski (Tonawanda, NY) each had five kills.
