Hawks Down Potsdam

POTSDAM, NY — The SUNY New Paltz women’s tennis team won its third straight match defeating SUNYAC rival Potsdam 8-1 this morning.

The Hawks completed a four-day, four-match road trip with a 3-1 mark. After dropping the opener to Oneonta on Thursday, SUNY New Paltz collected wins over Hartwick (Fri.), Plattsburgh (Sat.) and Potsdam (Sun.).

SUNY New Paltz won all three doubles matches and took five of the six singles events to raise their record to 3-1 this year.

Becky Sparacin, Jennifer Neumann and Amie Larson all improved to 4-0 in dual match, singles competition this year.
