New Paltz Defeats Plattsburgh 7-2

PLATTSBURGH, NY — The SUNY New Paltz women’s tennis team raised its record to 2-1 on the year with a 7-2 win over SUNYAC rival Plattsburgh this morning.

The Hawks owned a 2-1 lead following the doubles competition and then claimed five of the six singles contests to win their second match in a row.

It was the third match in as many days for the SUNY New Paltz women’s tennis team who will close out its four-match road trip against Potsdam tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m.
