Paulinski, Bridglall Get Wins In Final Home Matches

NEW PALTZ — Seniors Ed Paulinski (Floral Park, NY) and David Bridglall (Bronx, NY) picked up wins in their final home matches in a 7-2 victory over Hartwick Thursday in men’s tennis.

Paulinski was victorious in both his singles and doubles match. In singles he rolled past Dino Ragona 6-1, 6-3, and in doubles with Tiby Taran (Brooklyn Kings, NY) he beat Ragona and Adam D’Andrea 9-8 (7-2). Bridglall and partner Brian Palmenteri (Howard Beach, NY) got the win in their match against Mike Chapin and Jeff Pierce 8-4.

Also claiming victories in singles for the Hawks were Taran, Bobby Calise (East Islip, NY), Palmenteri, and Josh Greenspan (North Babylon, NY). Taran beat Eric Snydor 6-3, 6-1, Calise defeated D’Andrea 7-5, 7-6 (7-4), Palmenteri beat Chapin 7-5, 6-2, and Greenspan beat John Roth 6-0, 7-5.

The Hawks now stand at 9-6 on the year and look to pick up their tenth win Friday at Ramapo.
