NEW PALTZ — The Vassar Brewers handed the New Paltz men’s tennis team their second loss of the season Wednesday 8-1.
Vassar rolled through singles play sweeping all six matches. In #2 doubles, sophomores Bobby Calise (East Islip, NY) and Brad Breakstone (Mount Kisco, NY) were victorious in their match which resulted in the only win of the day for the Hawks. In #1 doubles, Ed Paulinski (Floral Park, NY) and Tiby Taran (Brooklyn Kings, NY) nearly pulled off a second win but eventually fell 8-6 to their Vassar opponents.
Men’s tennis will be in action Thursday when they travel to CCNY for a 3:30 start.
