Track and Field Has Impressive Finishes at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, NH — The SUNY New Paltz men and women’s track and field teams competed in the Dartmouth Indoor Invitational this weekend in Hanover, New Hampshire finishing well in several events.

Natasha Dudar (New Paltz, NY) finished 6th in the women’s long jump (4.80m) and 9th in the triple jump (10.17m). Stephanie Ramsey (Shelton, CT) finished right behind Dudar in the long jump in the 7th spot and also placed 8th in the 200 meters with a time of 29.63.

On the men’s side, Dave Matthews (Wallkill, NY) finished 2nd in the 400 meters with a time of 50.41 and 4th in the 200 meters at 23.02. Matt Selkirk (Canandaigua, NY) was 3rd in the long jump with a jump of 6.13 meters and Adam Thyberg (Blue Point, NY) was 3rd in the pole vault at 4.10 meters.

Track and Field will be in action again February 9th at MIT.
